Unified Fund Services has hired away the assistant vice president of U.S. fund administration at US Bancorp Fund Services.

Unified's president, Tony Ghoston, told the MFWire that Chris Kashmerick joined the firm last month as vice president of fund accounting and financial reporting.

Indianapolis, IN-based Unified is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huntington Bancshares. It is a provider of mutual fund transfer agency, fund accounting, administration, distribution, Internet and other services for both existing and new mutual funds.
