The WM Group of Funds has selected BFDS as a new sub-transfer agent, the fund firm announced on Monday.

BFDS won the contract after the WM Group conducted an "extensive national search conducted over the past year," wrote officials in the release.

A Washington Mutual spokeswoman said the firm's prior transfer agent was DST Systems.

As a result of the change, shareholders will receive new redesigned quarterly statements, as well as a host of other added online services. Shareholders can now change contact information and PIN numbers online; busy, redeem or exchange shares; view multiple accounts; view historical and tax statements; and set other preferences.
