has learned that New York-based Ruth Collier
retired last month.

, the asset manager behind American Funds, tells MFWire
Collier was most recently an SVP and regional wholesaler for the company. She worked with financial advisors through the company's non-institutional wealth management business.

An alumna of Tufts University, Collier holds dual bachelor's degrees in English and music.
