Today the Investments & Wealth Institute (IWI) (formerly IMCA) team is hosting a "Focus on Fiduciary" event at the Westin Washington D.C. City Center. The one-day event will feature a number of speakers, including: David Levine, principal at Groom Law Group; John Nersesian, managing director of wealth management services at Nuveen; Richard Roberts, principal at Roberts, Raheb, & Gradler; Arun Sardana, senior institutional consultant at UBS Institutional Consulting Group; George Sepsakos, associate at Groom; Duane Thompson, president of Potomac Strategies; David Tittsworth, counsel at Ropes & Gray; and Greg Valliere, chief political strategist at Horizon Investments. Sponsors of the event include Amundi Pioneer, Fidelity, Nationwide, Russell, and Smead.

Tomorrow morning the T. Rowe Price PR team will host their 2018 global market outlook press briefing at Convene Park Avenue in New York City. Speakers to be featured at the media event include: Ken Allen, PM, science and technology equity strategy; Ed Giltenan, head of global public relations; Ann Holcomb, PM, U.S. equity division, U.S. structured research strategy; Alan Levenson, chief U.S. economist; Justin Thomson, chief investment officer of equity; and Mark Vaselkiv, chief investment officer of fixed income. The event will be preceded by breakfast and followed by lunch.

Also on Tuesday, Bernie Clark and his Schwab Advisor Services team will kick off Charles Schwab's giant IMPACT 2017 conference, this time at McCormick Place in Chicago. The event begins tomorrow with pre-conference sessions in the afternoon and an evening reception and regional dinners, while the main conference sessions begin Wednesday morning. The four-day event will feature a host of speakers, including: David Cameron, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom; Mick Ebeling, founder and CEO of Not Impossible Labs; Theo Epstein, president of baseball operations for the Chicago Cubs; Jeffrey Kleintop, senior vice president and chief global investment strategist at Schwab; Michael Lewis, bestselling author; Joshua Cooper Ramo, vice chairman and co-CEO of Kissinger Associates; Liz Ann Sonders, senior vice president and chief investment strategist at Schwab; and Greg Valliere of Horizon. BlackRock, Matthews Asia, Northern Trust Asset Management, OppenheimerFunds, PGIM, SSgA, and a host of other companies (including most advisor-sold asset managers) are sponsoring the conference, which will feature a closing night party with R&B singer Leon Bridges.

On Wednesday the Osney Media team will host The Summit for Asset Management (TSAM) in Boston at the Hynes Convention Center. Seismic, Accenture Consulting, and a number of other companies are sponsoring the one-day conference.
