A Value Fund Hits $400MM

Smead Capital [profile] has reported that the Smead Value Fund (Investor Share Class: SMVLX, Institutional Share Class: SMVMX) recently hit $400 million in assets under management.

According to the company, the fund saw an increase of $100 million in assets under management in just under a month and a half, as a result of partnerships with RIA’s and brokerage firms.

“As we focus on growing our business, we believe that our humble offering is having an impact with the advisors and family offices that we work with,” stated Cole Smead, Director of Marketing and Sales. “Our firm’s greatest opportunity over the next 3 years is to expand the Smead Value Fund’s involvement with wealth managers in the major wirehouses and the registered investment advisor community.”

Large-cap fund sees rapid growth SEATTLE--The Smead Value Fund (Investor Share Class: SMVLX, Institutional Share Class: SMVMX) recently ascended to $400 million in assets under management.
