Fidelity [see profile], Putnam [see profile] and State Street [see profile] should all be happy with the newest edition of the Boston Business Journal. On Friday publisher Chris McIntosh revealed the publication's first "Power 50" list of top influencers in Boston: State Street chairman, president and CEO Jay Hooley, Fidelity scion Abby Johnson [#25 on MFWire.com's 2010 list of top influencers] and Putnam CEO Bob Reynolds [#10 on MFWire.com's 2010 list] are the only mutual fund industry representatives on the list.

Beantown fundsters may be interested in some of the other names on the list: Massachusetts Convention Center Authority's Jim Rooney, Boston Globe publisher Christopher Mayer, Boston Red Sox president and CEO Larry Nucchino, Boston Celtics CEO Wycliffe Grousbeck and Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Paul Guzzi. The presidents of Harvard and MIT also both made the list.
