, was paid $12.9 million last year, down 7 percent from the previous year, InvestmentNews reports
His compensation include $961,058 in salary, $6 million in stock awards, $4 million in non-equity incentive compensation, $1.67 million reflecting a change in the value of his pension and non-qualified deferred earnings and $296,394 in other compensation, according to a filing
today with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Meanwhile, Scott Powers
, CEO of the firm's money-management unit, State Street Global Advisors
], earned $13.5 million. For his part, CFO Edward Resch earned $9.44 million.
