A I M Distributors has inked a deal with Hartford Life to add the AIM V.I. Funds to the insurer's Hartford Leaders Variable Annuity product suite.

The nine AIM V.I. Funds be part of the the 38 investment choices offered through Hartford Leaders Variable Annuity. Other managers in the lineup include American Funds, Franklin Templeton, and MFS.

"The addition of the AIM funds to Hartford Leaders Variable Annuity product suite is part of our overall effort to focus on the needs of financial professionals and investors," said John Walters, executive vice president for Hartford Life's investment products.

The nine investment choices included are: AIM V.I. Aggressive Growth Fund, AIM V.I. Basic Value Fund, AIM V.I. Blue Chip Fund, AIM V.I. Capital Appreciation Fund, AIM V.I. Dent Demographic Trends Fund, AIM V.I. Government Securities Fund, AIM V.I. International Equity Fund, AIM V.I. Mid Cap Equity Fund, and AIM V.I. Value Fund.
