Wells Fargo Funds has snagged Heidi Ridley, formerly top marketer for nearby Montgomery Asset Management. Ridley takes the position of senior vice president of marketing and product management for the San Francisco firm.

Ridley reports to Mike Hogan, general manager of the Wells Fargo Funds. She had previously served as managing director of mutual funds at Montgomery.

After Ridley's departure from Montgomery, the firm hired Bill Santos as managing director of mutual fund distribution.
