Glens Falls National Bank and Trust has started its own fund family. The North Country Funds are being advised by subsidiary North Country Investment Advisors.

The Glens Falls, New York-based firm has started off with two offerings, the North Country Equity Growth and Intermediate Bond Funds. The growth portfolio is managed by Michael S. Dier, vice president and chief investment officer. The income fund is managed by Anita R. Manolt, vice president and investment officer.

Glens Falls National is considered by Arrow Financial Corporation (AROW) to be its lead bank. Trading volume in Arrow surged after the firm issued the press release.
