MainStay has found a new head marketer for its fund group.
Beverly J. Moore started at the Parsippany, New Jersey-based firm last week, according to a spokesperson. She fills the shoes of
Eric Disend who left the firm in September (Disend is the son of
Joel Disend, head of NY Life Benefit Services).
Moore, 41, will hold the title of managing director of marketing at MainStay Management and will be responsible for the marketing of The MainStay Funds and MainStay Institutional Funds. The funds are distributed through New York Life agents, registered reps, financial advisors, and financial planners as well as other brokerage firms.
She reports to
Brian Lee, president and chief executive officer of MainStay Management.
Prior to joining Mainstay she was senior vice president and director of marketing for the Investment Management Services Division at
Prudential Investments. A spokesperson for Prudential has been unable to confirm who took over her duties at Prudential as of the time this report was posted.
Before Prudential, Moore spent six years at DLJ Asset Management Group, as senior vice president and director of marketing and national sales manager for the DLJ Winthrop Mutual Funds.
