San Francisco startup Whatifi.com has tapped NewRiver to provide technical assistance and customer support services for its online investment site, the company said.

Whatifi.com said it chose NewRiver because of the Andovers, Massachusset's firms "proven customer service expertise" in the financial services industry.

"whatifi.com's goal is to enable online investors to receive advice, build their portfolio, open and fund accounts in the least time possible and with little effort," said Dean Liacos, Managing Director of Client Services at NewRiver. "Our goal is to help Whatifi's customers to make sure that the investment process is a smooth one."

Whatifi.com is promising to provide financial advice for investors with as little as $100 to invest.
