Villanova Capital has added
Christopher Baggini as an equity fund manager, its fourth added portfolio management move in as many months.
Baggini, 36, joins the Conshohocken, Pennsylvania-based company from
Allied Investment Advisors, in Baltimore, Maryland, where he managed several growth fund investments, including the
ARK Capital Growth Fund.
At Villanova, Baggini will manage growth equity products available to individuals and institutions, including institutional separate accounts and commingled funds.
In the past three months Villanova has made several key changes. In January, the firm hired
Curtiss Barrows, a portfolio manager specializing in high-yield securities. Later that month, the firm entered into a strategic venture with
NorthPointe Capital, an investment team that focuses on small cap value investments. And earlier this month, Villanova hired
Aaron Harris, a technology fund portfolio manager.
