The SEC is planning to review the marketing practices of mutual funds to ensure they tell the truth to potential investors, said SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt. The review look at the Web sites, sales literature and advertisements of mutual funds and examine whether the actual portfolio performance and investment strategies are consistent with their disclosure.

Delaware Investments is adding the Delaware Technology and Innovation Fund to its product line-up this week, investing in companies of all sizes. The fund is managed by Jeffrey Hynoski, a member of Delaware Investments' Growth Team who has managed the technology portion of Delaware Select Growth Fund since 1998, when he joined the firm.
