Daily Access Concepts has entered into a joint marketing arrangement with
Alliance Capital which will add 27 funds to DAC's Enterprise K product.
The announcement is the latest in a series of moves by DAC to bolster its products. DAC recently added 60 Franklin Templeton funds to its Access K product. And in November, DAC entered into an alliance with AIM Investments, also to add funds to Access K.
The addition of these funds brings the number available to Enterprise K users to about 275. Greg Carpenter, CEO of DAC, feels that the number of funds offered "is now on par with other top-tier fund families. We've got enough to satisfy market demand and, at this point, we're not actively pursuing any others. We don't have any ambitions to become a supermarket."
DAC offers all parties in the 401(k) process automated systems for straight-through processing and lower costs.
