Trimark Investment Management is adding
Nick Mancini to its management ranks as executive vice-president of sales and
marketing on March 1.
This is a new position created by the Toronto-based fund company with CDN$25 billion in assets. "We wanted to add someone with significant depth in both sales and marketing to help us with our distribution going forward and link our sales and marketing areas,"
Brad Badeau, president of Trimark said.
Mancini formerly was executive vice-president for
Canada Trust where he had responsibility for leadership of the strategic sales, field marketing and service priorities, as well as for its day-to-day retail operations. He also oversaw the company's domestic and international Asian banking services.
The no-load mutual fund family is available at most Canadian mutual funds through banks, discount brokers and some insurance brokers. Badeau was not able to forecast any marketing or distribution changes that might occur.
