Lipper Inc. today announced the appointment of
Sarah Dunn as chief executive officer. Dunn takes over for
Simon Thomson, who has been CEO since the New York fund tracker was acquired by
Reuters
in July of 1998. Dunn will take over in January 2000 and currently is executive vice president of global accounts for Reuters America Inc.
Thomson will become executive vice president and chief administration officer for Reuters-America, reporting to
Thomas Glocer, president of Reuters-America.
"Sarah is an experienced executive and manager who has held senior marketing positions for Reuters in the U.S. and Europe and who for the past two years has managed Reuters relationships with its most important global financial services accounts based in New York," said
