Winnipeg, Manitoba-headquartered Investors Group, Inc. has launched its Investors Quebec Enterprise Fund, another in its Investors Master Series. The fund will be managed by Christine Decarie, CFA, in Montreal, Quebec.

This move coincides with Investor Group's decision to open its Montreal-based investment management operation. Decarie has also been appointed cio and partner and will oversee the operation of the fund series from there.

"From the new investment operation in Montreal, I'll be regionally connected to the market and well-positioned to manage the new Quebec fund and recommend companies to other members of the North American Equities Team. The universe of potential stocks in Quebec is quite wide, with outstanding investment and growth opportunities," Decarie stated.

The fund will invest in companies that are located in or do business primarily in Quebec Province. Its goal is in providing long term capital growth opportunities. The fund will invest in large, medium, and small-capitalized companies.
