Westcore Funds, a no-load family of nine funds advised by Denver Investment Advisors LLC and distributed by Alps Mutual Fund Services, launched a new password-protected advisor website on March 5^th. The site is open to any advisors with access to the Internet and a willingness to certify that they are an investment professional.

Westcore developed the new site with the intention of attracting more advisors to the website and offering them additional resources, enabling them to sell the Westcore funds more easily, with professional presentation.

"We felt that the key to advisors would be the ease of use and the ability to offer them additional information than was available on our individual investor website," said a company spokesperson. 

Although the advisor site has some features in common with the company's open site, the advisor site additionally offers asset class reviews, a Sales Insights section,  fax and email alerts and a financial news and resources section among others. The addition of downloaded PowerPoint sales presentations and downloaded Fund Synopses are planned.

Advisor services have also been added to the site, allowing advisors access to specific client activity and historical account information. This area will also include a listing of the Westcore distribution channels and the appropriate contacts.
