Behind American Funds, MainStay Investments
, JPMorgan Asset Management
and Ivy Funds
rounded out (in that order) the top five mutual fund companies in the survey in terms of advisor satisfaction with their sales and business-building ideas.
The results were culled from an online survey of financial intermediaries, taken between April 2 and April 20, 2009, that generated 3,129 responses. The survey specifically inquired about the quality of sales and business-building ideas at twenty mutual funds.
At the start of April 2009, research firm kasina and Horsesmouth announced that they would be partnering to conduct advisor-focused research.
