Inc. magazine, a publication catering to owners and managers of private companies, recently released their 2009 "Inc. 500/5000" list of the nation's fastest growing private companies, and two mutual fund industry firms made the list ranked based on their percentage revenue growth from 2005 to 2008.

The Mutual Fund Store, an independent advice provider and asset manager for individual investors, ranked at number 2,516 with a 119.1 percent revenue growth over the relevant period.

'40 act PR and communications firm SunStar came in at number 3471, with a revenue growth of 70.5 percent over the same period.
