Deutsche Bank managing director Kevin Rich is quoted in the article, along with Eric Kolts, director of commodity indexes at Standard & Poor's. Among the ETFs mentioned are the iShares S&P GSCI Commodity Indexed Trust and and the PowerShares DB Commodity Index Tracking Fund.

Citing numbers from Morningstar, Salisbury notes that commodity ETFs and ETNs are growing in popularity, drawing in more north of $40 billion since 2004.
