Western & Southern Financial Group completed its purchase of the assets of Constellation Investment Management Company, L.P. on Wednesday, concluding an agreement made last November and reported by MFWire.com.

The Constellation Funds will merge with the funds of Touchstone Advisors, Inc., a subsidiary of Western & Southern, increasing Touchstone’s fund assets by approximately $3 billion to $7.5 billion.

Sometime in the third quarter of 2006, the funds will take the Touchstone brand name, said Touchstone in a press release. Their investment strategy will remain unchanged.
